• Munitan MD is a retanning agent being suitable for all kinds of leathers. Owing to anionic power, it is compatible towards all tanning, dyes, as well as anionic additives and vegetable tannins.Munitan MD improves fluffing, being therefore suitable to be employed to treat Nubuck and velvet leathers.Munitan MD is easily soluble in hot and cold water, producing a limpid slightly alkaline solution. Its stability cannot be guaranteed in pH lower than 3. Therefore, it is recommended to employ it only after neutralization.

  Recipe

  150% water                       40°C

  3% chrome

  5% Munitan AL                 run 90 mins, drain, Rinse

   

  Neutralization:

  150% water 35°C

  1% Sodium Formate      run 30 mins

  2% Munitan MAK            run 90 mins check pH. It should be about 4.5-4.8, drain, wash.

  100% water                       35°C

  4% Munitan MD            run 60 mins

  X% dyestuff run               30 mins

  15 Munitan MD

  2% Mimosa extract        run90 mins

  50% water 60°C

  2% Munol 710

  2% Munol RSL

  1% Munol LN-918

  0.5% Munol RCA              run 60 mins

  1.5% Formic Acid            run 30 mins

Storage Conditions

The product should be well sealed and must be stored in covered area between 5-25°C. Freezing and direct sun light must be avoided.
